The all-new 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to hit the Vietnamese market with three trim levels and two gasoline engine options. Meanwhile, the diesel variant is likely to be discontinued.

According to information from Hyundai dealers, the new-generation Hyundai Santa Fe is anticipated to launch in Vietnam as early as September. While dealerships have not started taking pre-orders for the 2025 Santa Fe, a detailed configuration of the vehicle has been leaked by a user on social media.

Based on this information, the new Santa Fe will be offered in three trim levels: 2.5 GLS Standard, 2.5 GLS High, and 2.5T Calligraphy. The first two trims will be equipped with the Smartstream G2.5 engine, delivering a maximum output of 194 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and 246 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

On the other hand, the 2.5T Calligraphy trim features a more powerful Smartstream G2.5 engine, generating 281 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 422 Nm of torque between 1,700 and 4,000 rpm. It is coupled with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The standard trim comes with front-wheel drive, while the higher trims boast Hyundai’s signature HTRAC all-wheel-drive system.

If this information holds true, the 2025 Santa Fe offers a significant boost in performance compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the SUV appears to have discontinued the diesel engine option, which was a popular choice among Vietnamese customers.

With its sleek new design and an array of cutting-edge features, the Santa Fe is poised to give tough competition to rivals in its segment, such as the Mazda CX-8 and Ford Everest. Meanwhile, the current-generation Santa Fe continues to be offered with attractive discounts of up to VND 50-100 million, bringing the effective price below the VND 1 billion mark.

The all-new Hyundai Santa Fe made its global debut in August 2023, impressing audiences with its bold, boxy design that marks a significant departure from its predecessor. The SUV boasts larger dimensions, with a length of 4,830 mm, a width of 1,900 mm, a height of 1,720 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,815 mm. This results in a more spacious interior, with cargo capacity increased from 634 liters to 725 liters when the third-row seats are folded down.

The front of the new Santa Fe is characterized by its distinctive H-shaped daytime running lights and grille, reminiscent of Hyundai’s logo. Notably, the logo has been relocated from the grille to the hood. The vehicle also sports a horizontal light bar that runs parallel to the hood line.

The rear of the Santa Fe continues the boxy design theme, resulting in a rugged SUV look. While the rear is relatively simple in design, it is accentuated by the H-shaped taillights.

Step inside the new Santa Fe, and you’ll be greeted by a minimalist and elegant interior. It features a curved display that integrates a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. The front seats are power-adjustable and come with heating and cooling functions. The driver’s seat also includes memory functions. The higher trims are equipped with a Bose sound system, promising an immersive acoustic experience. Additional notable features include a heads-up display, a dual-pane sunroof, wireless charging, and smart key access.

Pricing details for the new Hyundai Santa Fe have not yet been disclosed. However, with its upgraded engine and plethora of modern amenities, the top-of-the-line trim of this Korean CUV is expected to carry a significant premium, surpassing the VND 1.4 billion mark.
