On August 27, 2024, we announced that the Koenigsegg Jesko, which was supposed to lead the Gumball 3000 rally driven by its founder, Mr. Maximillion Cooper, would not be able to make it to the upcoming event in Vietnam in September.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the limited-edition Koenigsegg Jesko, of which there are only 125 units globally, will not be shipped to Vietnam. Instead, Mr. Cooper will be driving another rare supercar, which was revealed by the Gumball 3000 team late last night.
Revealed: The supercar that will replace the Koenigsegg Jesko for the upcoming event in Vietnam
The supercar that will be driven by Mr. Maximillion Cooper, founder of the Gumball 3000 rally, is the Lamborghini Aventador LP770-4 SVJ. Only 900 units of this limited-edition model exist worldwide. Accompanying Mr. Cooper at Gumball 3000 2024 will be the well-known Youtuber, JWW.
While this change may have disappointed car enthusiasts in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, who were eagerly anticipating the arrival of one of the 125 Koenigsegg Jesko units produced globally, the event organizers have swiftly arranged for a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ to take its place.
The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces a staggering 770 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque.
With this powerful engine, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 350 km/h.
