The Gumball 3000 2024 event is coming to Vietnam for two days on September 14 and 15, 2024, and promises to showcase dozens of supercars from all over the world. Many of these exotic vehicles have already been transported to the country by air, arriving at Tan Son Nhat Airport.

Aside from the supercars, the Gumball 3000 2024 rally will also feature a number of luxury vehicles, including eight Lamborghini Urus SUVs. This super SUV is well represented at the event, with a variety of colors and models on display, including the standard, Urus S, and high-performance Performante versions.

A total of eight Lamborghini Urus super SUVs will be participating in the Gumball 3000, showcasing a range of colors such as black, white, military green, green, and gray. Their high ground clearance and capacity to accommodate multiple passengers make them a popular choice for a long-distance driving event.

The Lamborghini Urus, once known as the fastest SUV in the world, is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that delivers 650 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. Combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, the Urus can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 305 km/h.

Lamborghini has equipped the Urus with six driving modes, collectively known as Anima. In addition to the familiar Strada (street), Sport (sport), and Corsa (track) modes found on supercars, the Urus also offers Sabbia (sand), Terra (off-road), and Neve (snow) modes.

The Lamborghini Urus S, on the other hand, is an upgraded version of the Urus that was introduced almost five years after the original. The most noticeable change is in the design, particularly the grille and front bumper, with subtle modifications made to improve aerodynamics. The first Lamborghini Urus S to arrive in Vietnam for the Gumball 3000 rally features a glossy dark gray color, black exterior accents, two-tone silver and black five-spoke wheels, and yellow brake calipers.

The most impressive feature of the mid-life-cycle upgraded Lamborghini Urus S is its engine. While it retains the same 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 as the standard Urus, the Italian engineers have fine-tuned it to produce 657 horsepower, an increase of 16 horsepower over the standard version and identical to the Urus Performante. It also delivers 850 Nm of torque.

With this enhanced power, the Lamborghini Urus S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than the standard Urus. It can sprint from 0 to 200 km/h in 12.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 305 km/h. While these figures are impressive for an SUV, they are still outshined by the Aston Martin DBX 707, three of which are already in Vietnam.

The Lamborghini Urus Performante stands out with several exterior differences from the standard model, including a carbon fiber hood, redesigned front and rear bumpers, new 22-23 inch wheels, Performante logos on the side skirts, and a new rear diffuser, spoiler, and Akrapovic sports exhaust system.

Under the hood, the Lamborghini Urus Performante matches the Urus S in terms of power, but it takes performance a step further. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than the standard Urus and 0.2 seconds faster than the Urus S. Its top speed is 306 km/h. Additionally, the Urus Performante simplifies the driving mode selection by offering only four modes: Strada, Sport, Corsa, and the new Rally mode.
