U.S. Armor Group Unveils Armored Version of the Lucid Air Sapphire Electric Super Sedan: A Perfect Fusion of Speed, Technology, and Optimal Protection

When it comes to armored vehicles, one might envision bulky SUVs with sluggish acceleration due to their excessive weight. However, U.S. Armor Group, an American manufacturer of military equipment, has challenged this perception by introducing an armored version of the all-electric Lucid Air Sapphire sedan.

The Lucid Air Sapphire is equipped with three electric motors, delivering an impressive 1,234 horsepower, along with all-wheel drive. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in a breathtaking 1.89 seconds, reaches a top speed of 205 mph, and offers an EPA-estimated range of 427 miles. With these remarkable specifications, the Lucid Air Sapphire even outperforms the renowned Bugatti Chiron in terms of acceleration.

To enhance this vehicle, the engineers at U.S. Armor Group meticulously designed upgrades to maintain its original performance while integrating protective armor. They added lightweight ballistic windows capable of withstanding .44 Magnum ammunition. Additionally, the vehicle is reinforced with a composite armor layer that is one-fifth the weight of steel armor but offers ten times the strength. The additional armor only adds 385 lbs to the vehicle’s weight, equivalent to two passengers, thus minimally impacting its acceleration and range.

Beyond its physical armor, the vehicle boasts a specially secured internet/WiFi system, safeguarding data from cyber-attacks. A host of special features are integrated inside and outside the vehicle, continuously scanning for nearby threats as it moves, while connecting to over a million sources, including local police and fire departments. Notably, the one-touch connectivity feature allows the driver to instantly communicate with US Armor Group whenever needed.

With all these exceptional features, the armored Lucid Air Sapphire commands a price tag of $475,000, nearly double that of the standard version.
