Just 12 days to go until the world’s largest supercar event, Gumball 3000, kicks off in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The preparations, including the transportation of the vehicles to the country, are almost complete.
Among the cars set to appear are a number of hypercars and megacars, with the Singapore team promising a spectacular display. It is unclear whether the Singaporean supercars will be gathering in Vietnam to take part in the Gumball 3000 rally or will simply be exhibited in their home country.
However, a gathering of nearly 50 hypercars and megacars is expected, including a Pagani Huayra BC Roadster—a limited-edition model with only 40 units produced worldwide. This information comes directly from the owner of the car, a prominent Singaporean car enthusiast who also owns a one-of-a-kind Koenigsegg Regera RS, a Nissan GT-R50 with a starting price of $1.15 million, and a Lexus LFA, among others.
The Pagani Huayra BC Roadster, with a starting price of $3.5 million, is $2.2 million more expensive than the standard model. This price excludes transportation costs, optional extras, and taxes upon entry into Singapore. According to some sources, the final price of this particular Pagani Huayra BC Roadster, including all additional costs and taxes, is over 230 billion VND.
The Singaporean enthusiast’s Pagani Huayra BC Roadster features a silver exterior with blue carbon fiber and naked carbon fiber accents, complemented by black and blue stripes. The interior showcases a red and black color scheme with extensive use of carbon fiber. Unlike the Pagani Huayra BC Coupe, the Roadster features traditional side-opening doors instead of scissor doors.
Under the hood, the Pagani Huayra BC Roadster is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine that delivers 789 horsepower and 1,099 Nm of torque. This power is transmitted to the wheels through a new 7-speed automatic Xtrac transmission.
