Honda Vietnam has announced a new wave of promotions for its vehicles, including the popular City and CR-V models, with price reductions starting from September 1, 2024. The company is also offering attractive incentives for its imported BR-V and HR-V models, providing customers with a more affordable path to ownership.

To take advantage of these offers, customers need to sign a purchase agreement and complete the full payment process between September 7 and September 30, 2024. The promotion applies a 10% registration fee.

September 2024 promotions for the Honda BR-V and HR-V.
As previously reported, domestically assembled vehicles will benefit from a 50% reduction in registration fees for a three-month period, from September 1 to November 30, 2024. However, as the Honda BR-V and HR-V are imported, they do not qualify for this government initiative. To maintain competitiveness, Honda Vietnam has introduced these promotions to support customers interested in these models.
The Honda BR-V and HR-V have consistently demonstrated stable sales performance, neither too high nor too low. In July 2024, Honda sold 340 units of the BR-V and 682 units of the HR-V in Vietnam, bringing the cumulative sales for the first seven months of 2024 to 1,892 and 3,116 units, respectively.
The main challenge for these Honda models has been their pricing. Within their respective segments, both vehicles are positioned at the higher end of the price spectrum. The Honda BR-V is offered in two variants, with prices ranging from 661 to 705 million VND. The Honda HR-V, on the other hand, has three variants, with prices ranging from 699 to 871 million VND. Additionally, both models face the challenge of inconsistent supply compared to their locally assembled competitors.
The Honda BR-V is a compact MPV.
However, the Honda BR-V and HR-V boast eye-catching designs and come equipped with advanced ADAS safety features as standard. This level of standard safety equipment is not commonly found in their competitors. Moreover, many customers appreciate the superior driving experience offered by these Honda models compared to rival vehicles.
Under the hood, the Honda BR-V is powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC 4-cylinder DOHC engine that produces 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and delivers power to the front wheels.
The Honda HR-V offers two engine options: a naturally aspirated 1.5L 4-cylinder engine that generates 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque, and a more powerful 1.5L turbocharged engine that delivers an impressive 174 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque.
