Mid-month, several employees of BMW Vietnam opened deposits for two high-performance cars: the new BMW M3 and BMW M4. Both vehicles are the top-of-the-line Competition xDrive variants, priced at 5 billion VND and 5.6 billion VND, respectively.
A Vietnamese Bimmer has since shared that he successfully booked a purchase of the BMW M4 Competition 2024. According to him, having already owned an older M4, he couldn’t pass up on the latest generation. He placed a deposit of 850 million VND.
This BMW M4 G82 will be a customized model from a domestic dealer, with delivery expected 3 to 4 months later than standard. The options on this M4 cost 1.4 billion VND, bringing the post-tax price of this Vietnamese Bimmer’s BMW M4 Competition 2024 to 7 billion VND.
The BMW M4 Competition 2024 will feature a special Fire Orange paint job costing 320 million VND, along with a carbon package and Full Merino leather interior in orange/black, priced at approximately 150 million VND. The BMW M4 Competition is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine that produces a maximum of 503 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque.
With a more powerful engine, the new BMW M4 can accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h when paired with the M Driver’s Package.
This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, steering wheel-mounted shift paddles, and an M xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The drive system also includes an Active M rear differential with three modes: 4WD, 4WD Sport, and 2WD.
