The 2024 Suzuki Jimny is now priced at around 888 million VND in Vietnam, including on-road costs. Interestingly, the resale price of a used 2024 Jimny can be up to 50% higher than that of a brand new one, as seen in a recent market listing.
A recent listing in the used car market has caught the attention of many, as it offers a 2024 Suzuki Jimny with only 500km on the odometer and some exterior modifications. The seller is asking for 1.399 billion VND for this barely-used vehicle.
In contrast, the 2024 Suzuki Jimny has a listed price of 789 million VND for the single-tone color option and 799 million VND for the two-tone color option in Vietnam. When you factor in the on-road costs for registration and other fees, the total amount needed to drive the car in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City comes out to approximately 906 million VND and 890 million VND, respectively.
According to the seller’s information, the exterior of this particular 2024 Suzuki Jimny has been modified with a Wald body kit, costing around 500 million VND. This “mini G-Class” now sports a more aggressive and rugged look, especially with the glossy black paint job. Notable exterior features include LED headlights with automatic on/off functionality, a 37-degree approach angle, a 28-degree breakover angle, and a 49-degree departure angle.
As for the interior, the Suzuki Jimny, being an off-road-focused vehicle, has a simple and functional cabin design. The only noticeable changes made to the interior of this 2024 model are the reupholstered leather seats and the addition of floor mats. Otherwise, it retains the standard features: a leather-wrapped steering wheel with function buttons, an analogue instrument cluster with a multi-information display, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In terms of safety, the Suzuki Jimny is equipped with a range of driver-assistance features, including anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, and six airbags.
Under the hood, the Suzuki Jimny available in Vietnam is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, producing 101 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. Notably, the Jimny is likely the only small-sized SUV in its segment to offer a two-wheel-drive system, a differential lock, multiple terrain modes, and a choice between a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.
