Nissan Navara’s newest generation has recently been spotted undergoing testing in China, suggesting that its official launch is imminent.

To give users a better idea of what to expect, Carscoops has created a rendering of the 2025 Nissan Navara, specifically the version tailored for the Chinese market, which may also be released globally.

The new Navara is expected to boast a more robust and imposing presence. The front grille features a large honeycomb pattern with chrome trim, and the headlights are designed in a unique tiered arrangement. The redesigned front bumper contributes to a stronger and more robust overall appearance. The rear of the vehicle borrows several design cues from the latest Mitsubishi Triton.

In terms of interior updates, the new Nissan Navara is likely to receive a significant upgrade in terms of modern conveniences and amenities. It is probable that the vehicle will feature a larger infotainment screen with enhanced functionality and cutting-edge features.

When it comes to safety, the new Nissan Navara may introduce advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, and various driving modes such as sand, mud, and auto.

The 2025 Navara for the Chinese market will be based on the new P20 platform. It will offer multiple powertrain options, potentially including a 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine similar to the Triton, producing 201 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque.

Nissan also intends to introduce plug-in hybrid and fully electric versions of the Navara in the near future.

The 2025 Nissan Navara is expected to be launched by the end of this year. It will compete against rivals such as the Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi Triton, Kia Tasman, BYD Shark, Isuzu D-Max, and Toyota Hilux.
