Honda Unveils the New HR-V e:HEV for the European Market
The new Honda HR-V showcases a refined design, building upon the success of its predecessor. The updates are subtle but noticeable, with a focus on a sportier and more robust front end. The grille and bumper have been redesigned, and the headlights have been streamlined with sleek new LED graphics.
The HR-V’s mid-life refresh also introduces three new exterior colors: Sage Green, Seabed Blue, and Urban Grey, offering a fresh and modern appeal.
The top-of-the-line model will feature a panoramic sunroof, body-colored elements, Crystal Black grille, and distinctive 18-inch alloy wheels, enhancing its premium presence.
Inside, the Honda HR-V boasts a host of modern amenities, including a 7-inch instrument cluster, a 9-inch infotainment system, wireless charging, enhanced sound insulation, and privacy glass as standard.
In terms of safety, the 2024 Honda HR-V is equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems, including a multi-angle camera system and enhanced traffic jam assist functionality.
Under the hood, the HR-V is powered by Honda’s e:HEV hybrid system, combining a 1.5L i-VTEC gasoline engine with two electric motors and a lithium-ion battery, delivering a total output of 129 horsepower. This efficient powertrain is paired with an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
The Honda HR-V e:HEV will go on sale in Europe and the UK from September 2024, with pricing details yet to be announced.
