Leaked Images Reveal the All-New Volvo XC90’s Stunning Interior and Exterior Design
Volvo XC90, the third generation model, was set to be unveiled on September 4th. However, in a recent social media post, the Swedish brand accidentally shared and then quickly deleted some images of the car’s interior and exterior design. Fortunately, eager fans were quick to capture and share these leaked images.
The exterior of the new XC90 shares design cues with its all-electric sibling, the Volvo EX90. It boasts an impressive grille with intersecting slats and the iconic Swedish brand logo at its center. The central air intake and side vents also feature a refreshed design, while the distinctive Thor’s Hammer headlights and L-shaped taillights remain.
Inside, the XC90 boasts a large infotainment screen and a modern digital instrument cluster. A distinctive feature retained from previous generations is the crystal gear lever, adding a touch of Scandinavian elegance to the minimalist cabin design.
Volvo is committed to electrifying its entire product range, and as such, the company is prioritizing the development of hybrid powertrains over traditional gasoline engines. The XC90 is expected to offer multiple hybrid options, including mild hybrid and PHEV configurations.
