In addition to the Ferrari fleet, the Ford GT duo that the “Coffee King” will bring to the Gumball 3000 has also received a stunning makeover.
Among them, the Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition – the only one in Vietnam – was brought into the country in May 2021. Previously, this rare car belonged to the Novaland Corporation, bearing the license plate 51K – 339.39.
Originally, the car featured a Race Red exterior paint job, part of the Heritage Edition package. This iconic color was also worn by the Ford GT40 Mark IV race cars that dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1967, and only 39 cars were produced in this color.
However, after joining the “King” Vu’s collection, the Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition received a new coat of paint, transforming from a vibrant red to a pristine white. The American supercar is accentuated by a blue stripe that runs from the front to the rear of the vehicle.
The second Ford GT, bearing the license plate 51K – 303.77, was added to the “Coffee King’s” garage in May 2022. Initially, the car sported a Liquid Red exterior, but it has since been changed by Vu to a light blue wrap. Additionally, the car stands out with the UN logo on the hood and both sides of the vehicle.
In preparation for the upcoming Gumball 3000 2024 event, both Ford GT supercars have been adorned with new decals to promote the Trung Nguyen coffee brand, similar to the Ferrari fleet.
Powering both Ford GT supercars is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 twin-turbo engine, producing 647 horsepower and 746 Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed PowerShift dual-clutch transmission, enabling the cars to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 348 km/h.
As planned, the Gumball 3000 2024 supercar rally will officially commence on September 14th. This year, Ho Chi Minh City has been chosen as the starting point to promote Vietnam to the international community.

The Porsche fleet primarily consisted of the powerful 911 Turbo models, backed up by the formidable 911 GT3 RS and GT2 RS variants. A rare Carrera GT also joined the lineup, adding to the Porsche presence at this exciting event.
