MG is set to unveil its new ZS crossover on August 28, and ahead of its launch, the Chinese automaker has released some teaser images of the vehicle.
As can be seen from the shared images, the new MG ZS features a grille that is quite similar to the latest MG3 and MG HS. The car’s headlight area has also been redesigned and looks simple yet modern.
The MG ZS in the images sports an eye-catching red exterior. This color is predicted to be a popular choice in the upcoming time.
The new MG ZS is expected to be powered by a hybrid powertrain, combining a 1.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor to produce a total output of 192 horsepower and 424 Nm of torque. This powertrain also includes an 18.3 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 3-speed electronic automatic transmission.
Details about the interior of the upcoming MG ZS are still under wraps, but it is expected to be similar to the MG 3. This means the 2025 MG ZS could feature a more modern cabin with a digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system, complete with satellite navigation, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
The previous-generation MG ZS is currently sold in the UK market with a starting price of $23,900 (VND 596 million). With the addition of the hybrid powertrain and enhanced features, the price of the new ZS is expected to see a slight increase.
