Mitsubishi is set to unveil the highly-anticipated 2024 Triton to Vietnamese customers on September 11, 2024.
However, ahead of its official launch, the first batch of the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton Athlete has already arrived at dealerships.
Mitsubishi Triton 2024 is built on a new platform, offering a sturdier frame compared to its predecessor, thus enhancing its off-road capabilities.
The vehicle boasts impressive dimensions with a length of 5,320 mm, a width of 1,865 mm, and a height of 1,795 mm. It also has a wheelbase of 3,130 mm and a remarkable ground clearance of up to 222 mm. Compared to the previous model, the wheelbase has increased by 130 mm, while the ground clearance ranges from 203 mm to 222 mm, depending on the variant.
The Mitsubishi Triton 2024 retains its distinctive Dynamic Shield design language while incorporating refined modern touches.
The front end features an expanded design with a bold, vertical rectangular grille. It is flanked by LED daytime running lights and LED projector headlights similar to those found on the new Xpander. Meanwhile, the fog lights are positioned below the front bumper.
The Athlete variant, now available at dealerships, showcases sporty black accents, including on the grille surrounds, alloy wheels, wheel arch cladding, door handles, mirrors, and roof rails.
The rear end of the Triton 2024 has also been redesigned, featuring a unique pair of L-shaped LED taillights that face each other.
Step inside the Triton 2024, and you’ll find a cabin with angular design elements. It comes equipped with a 3-spoke steering wheel, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. The system is prominently positioned in the center for easy access.
Additionally, the pickup truck offers a 6-speaker audio system, two 12V charging ports, a smart key system, dual-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, a manual handbrake, and sporty seats with a honeycomb-like pattern in a two-tone color scheme.
In terms of safety, the Mitsubishi Triton 2024 is expected to feature advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, and front and rear parking sensors.
According to dealership information, the high-end Athlete trim will be powered by a new 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, delivering an impressive 204 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a four-wheel-drive system.
Customers who purchase the Triton 2024 will benefit from a standard 5-year warranty (or 150,000 km, whichever comes first). Additionally, from August 12, 2024, to September 10, 2024, customers who pre-order the All-New Triton 2024 from authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealerships nationwide will be entitled to special offers. These include 10 free engine oil and genuine oil filter replacements within 5 years or 100,000 km (whichever comes first), following the recommended maintenance schedule by Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam.
