The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is the third model in the Icona series, following the Monza SP1 and SP2. As expected, the Italian marque is prioritizing customers who already own one of the Monza models for the purchase of the Daytona SP3, with a list of around 499 people. The remaining 100 spots will be offered to very lucky individuals invited by Ferrari, making the Daytona SP3 an extremely exclusive vehicle that money alone can’t buy unless you’re in the good graces of the company.

Interestingly, Taiwan has already received three of these million-dollar supercars. In contrast to the previous two Daytona SP3s in familiar white and red, this hard-to-acquire gem sports an eye-catching orange hue.

“The Orange Pearl” Ferrari Daytona SP3: A Million Dollars Might Not Be Enough

This striking orange Ferrari Daytona SP3 is complemented by numerous black and carbon fiber elements, including the impressive five-spoke, twin-spiral wheels finished in copper. With a starting price of $2.3 million, this supercar costs Taiwan’s wealthy enthusiasts no less than $4.6 million to acquire.

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is an extraordinary hypercar, being a coupe-targa hybrid, and with a limited production of 599 units, it’s no surprise that its price is expected to double, triple, or even quadruple in the next few years.

The front of the Daytona SP3 features an impressive splitter and a front bumper reminiscent of the 1967 330 P4, albeit with a lower nose and wider fenders. The LED headlights are intricately structured with pop-up mechanisms, and the car sports horizontal air intakes with movable flaps for improved aerodynamics. Like the LaFerrari, the SP3 boasts butterfly doors with impressive air vents, and the windshield has a pronounced curvature.

The rear of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is a showstopper, with a design akin to a concept car. It features a horizontal LED light strip that integrates the taillights, an active rear spoiler that adjusts based on speed, and a carbon fiber diffuser. The trapezoidal exhaust tips are positioned high up, adding to the car’s visual appeal and providing a glimpse of the powerful V12 engine. Complementing the package are the five-spoke wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, specifically developed for the Daytona SP3.

Under the hood, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces a staggering 829 horsepower and 697 Nm of torque. This power is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission with a limited-slip differential, enabling the hypercar to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.85 seconds.
