The “Chairman SUV” Century made its global debut in September 2023, with Toyota teasing a high-performance GRMN configuration for speed enthusiasts to order.

Now, Toyota Chairman, Akio Toyoda, has confirmed that the GRMN version will enter mass production to make it accessible to a wider global audience.

This isn’t just your regular high-performance GR configuration; it’s a racing-inspired version that typically boasts the most formidable performance capabilities compared to all other configurations of the Century SUV.

The high-performance version will undoubtedly receive design upgrades, and engine enhancements are also expected. The standard Toyota Century SUV is equipped with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) V6 3.5L powertrain, delivering 406 horsepower, paired with a CTV automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

The new Toyota Century SUV is currently only available in two markets: Japan and China. Therefore, it is likely that the GRMN version will also be exclusive to customers in these two countries.

The Toyota Century SUV starts at 25 million yen (approximately 4.28 billion VND). Expect a significantly higher price tag for the high-performance version.
