The owner of the first Porsche 911 Dakar in Vietnam was thrilled to discover a VinFast VF e34 with an almost identical license plate to his own car.

Specifically, the VinFast VF e34 sports the license plate 51K-199.11, while the Porsche 911 Dakar owned by the businessman from Haiphong bears the plate 51L-199.11. The two license plates differ only by the letters K and L.

Unfortunately, the owner of the VinFast VF e34 had already personalized the 51K-199.11 plate, so the Haiphong businessman couldn’t purchase it even if he wanted to.

It is known that the Haiphong businessman successfully auctioned off the license plate 51L-199.11 on December 22, 2023, for VND 40 million.

For the owner of the Porsche 911 Dakar, the 51L-199.11 plate holds a special significance due to the number sequence. The number 19 is his birthday, which is also added to the two door sills and the first two digits of the car’s serial number, 1904/2500. The number 911 is, of course, the name of this sports car model.

Under the hood of the Porsche 911 Dakar lies a 3.0L boxer six-cylinder engine that produces 473 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission and an AWD system. This setup enables the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 240 km/h.
