A stunning McLaren 720S Spider has emerged from a wealthy owner in Nghe An province, Vietnam. The supercar has been transformed with the DarwinPro Senna GTR package, giving it an aggressive new look, most notably with the addition of a massive rear wing.
And more recently, the streets of Cambodia have played host to another McLaren 720S, also fitted with the DarwinPro Senna GTR body kit. In contrast to the Vietnamese convertible, this car is a coupe.
Yet Another McLaren 720S Senna GTR Makes Headlines, This Time in Cambodia
Interestingly, both the Vietnamese and Cambodian McLaren 720S supercars have been painted yellow after receiving the Senna GTR treatment, with the original color of the Cambodian car unknown. The car from Nghe An province, on the other hand, started life as a red machine.
The DarwinPro body kit for the McLaren 720S includes a longer front bumper, prominent side gills, and a new headlight air vent cover. The hood has also been redesigned to resemble the McLaren Senna GTR, giving the car a more menacing appearance.
The wheel arches have been widened and fitted with air-channeling vents, and the rear of the car now boasts an enormous fixed wing that spans the width of the car and is reminiscent of those found on race cars. This wing setup does not interfere with the functionality of the stock electric rear spoiler.
The starting price for the DarwinPro McLaren 720S body kit is $18,550 (approximately 430 million VND), although the company notes that this price only includes items in stock and does not cover additional options or shipping to Cambodia.
It is unclear if the Cambodian McLaren 720S has received any engine upgrades or an aftermarket exhaust system. In its stock form, the McLaren 720S is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 710 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 568 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission, enabling the McLaren 720S to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 212 mph.
