The Suzuki Jimny has garnered immense popularity, with demand outstripping supply and creating a unique phenomenon of “selling cars with lac” during the first two months of its release. Its resemblance to a miniaturized Mercedes-Benz G-Class has captivated Vietnamese car enthusiasts, sparking a frenzy of interest in this Suzuki model.
To enhance the rugged appearance of the Suzuki Jimny, enthusiasts have invested tens to hundreds of millions of dong, significantly transforming the style of this vehicle. One particular Jimny stands out with its super VIP license plate, 77A-222.22, and its Brabus-inspired modifications.
The owner of this unique Suzuki Jimny, bearing the license plate 77A-222.22, is a well-known automobile and motorcycle shop owner in Gia Lai and Ho Chi Minh City, named Toan Trung. He has spared no expense, investing hundreds of millions of dong to transform his Jimny into a Brabus-inspired masterpiece.
The first striking modification is the set of seven-spoke double wheels, painted in matte black with red accents, reminiscent of the expensive option available on the Mercedes-AMG G63 Edition 1. These wheels dramatically enhance the overall appearance of the Suzuki Jimny, making it stand out on the road.
The Brabus-style body kit includes a front grille, vertical slat grille, dual side air vents with integrated LED daytime running lights, super sporty turn signals on the hood, new LED headlights, fender flares, auxiliary lights on the roof, a rear spoiler, and a sporty rear bumper.
This tuning package showcases the owner’s passion and dedication to taking the Jimny to the next level. The Brabus tuning package for the Suzuki Jimny is priced at 40,000 GBP, or approximately 1.2 billion VND, which is four times the price of the car itself.
Additionally, the owner added AMG decals to the sides of the vehicle, completing the transformation into a “mini Mercedes-AMG G63.” The modifications didn’t stop with the exterior, as the renowned car and motorcycle dealer, Toan Trung, went a step further by customizing the interior with new leather upholstery and adorning the car with the super VIP license plate, 77A-222.22.
This Suzuki Jimny is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious in Vietnam, boasting a complete Brabus transformation, new leather seats, and the coveted quintuple license plate from Binh Dinh province.
The Suzuki Jimny available in Vietnam is the 3-door version, with dimensions of 3,645 x 1,645 x 1,720 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,250 mm. It is officially priced at 789 million VND.
The interior accommodates four passengers and features cloth upholstery, a multifunction steering wheel, a monochrome multi-information display within the analog instrument cluster, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, automatic climate control, AM/FM/Radio/MP3/WMA, an SD card slot, Bluetooth connectivity, a USB port, and two speakers.
Under the hood, the Suzuki Jimny is powered by a 1.5-liter inline-four engine that generates a maximum output of 100 horsepower at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system. The car rides on 15-inch wheels wrapped in 195/80 tires.
