The official Gumball 3000 fan page recently revealed that the “67th member to join this year’s largest supercar journey in the world” is none other than the Koenigsegg Regera “Honey.” The owner of this megacar is a well-known American millionaire named Dan Kang, a renowned car collector globally. Dan Kang currently owns an impressive collection of over 100 vehicles, with more than 20 being hypercars and megacars. Some notable mentions from Dan Kang’s collection include the limited-edition Lamborghini Centenario (only 20 made), Pagani Huayra BC (limited to 40 units), Bugatti Chiron, Koenigsegg Agera Thor, McLaren Speedtail, and Ferrari LaFerrari, to name a few.
Focusing on the Koenigsegg Regera that will be making its way to Vietnam for the upcoming supercar journey, this particular model has been personalized as the “Honey” edition, featuring a striking exposed carbon fiber exterior. The Koenigsegg Regera’s design is instantly recognizable, thanks to its distinctive 180-degree opening doors, setting it apart from other supercars. According to the organizers, the 25th Gumball 3000 journey will commence on September 14 in Ho Chi Minh City, passing through prominent cities in Southeast Asia, including Phrom Penh (Cambodia), Bangkok (Thailand), and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), before concluding on September 22 in Singapore.
