All-New Hyundai Santa Fe Makes its Public Debut in Vietnam Ahead of its Official Launch in the Coming Weeks

According to dealer sources, the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe will be officially introduced in Vietnam in September 2024. Prior to its launch, the CUV was surprisingly spotted on several streets in Quang Binh Province, garnering significant attention from passersby and the online community.

Based on the images shared on social media, the two Hyundai Santa Fe 2025 models spotted in Quang Binh featured white and black colors, suggesting they are two different versions with distinct grille designs, wheel sizes, and other decorative details.

According to some consultants, the Santa Fe 2025 distributed in Vietnam will come in three variants: Standard Gasoline, Premium Gasoline, and Turbo. The expected prices for these versions are 1.189 billion, 1.289 billion, and 1.368 billion VND, respectively. The new generation of this D-segment CUV will not offer diesel or hybrid engine options.

In Vietnam, the Santa Fe 2025 is expected to feature two engine configurations. The first is a 2.5L Smartstream gasoline engine that delivers 194 horsepower and a maximum torque of 246 Nm, paired with front-wheel drive. The Turbo version boasts a 2.5L turbocharged gasoline engine producing 281 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque, coupled with an all-wheel-drive system.

Leaked images also revealed the interior design and features of the new Santa Fe in Vietnam. The most notable upgrade is the dual-screen setup on the dashboard, comprising a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen.

Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a host of notable features, including a heads-up display, a dual-pane sunroof, wireless charging, and smart key access. Overall, the Santa Fe’s cabin exudes a more luxurious and modern ambiance, achieved by reducing the number of function keys on the center console and dashboard.

Safety features are expected to be a key attraction for the new Santa Fe, thanks to the inclusion of the Hyundai Smart Sense technology package. Referring to the overseas market, the prominent features of this model include Smart Cruise Control, Highway Driving Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Lane Following Assist. Other systems encompass Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Remote Smart Parking Assist, Safe Exit Assist, and Surround View Monitor.

The Santa Fe 2025 is anticipated to help Hyundai regain its position in the D-segment CUV/SUV market in Vietnam. Once a popular choice, the Korean SUV has recently lost some of its appeal due to strong competition. From the beginning of 2024 to the end of July, Santa Fe sold 2,630 units, half the number of the segment leader, the Ford Everest. Currently, Hyundai dealers are offering various promotions for the 2024 Santa Fe, with discounts of up to 60 million VND.
