Lynk & Co Z10: An Electrifying Sedan Unveiled in Asia

The highly anticipated Lynk & Co Z10 has finally arrived in Asia, with sales commencing in August. Offering a range of five variants, the Z10 is priced between 202,800 and 294,800 Chinese yuan (approximately 707 million to 1.028 billion VND). Early bird customers will enjoy a direct discount of 6,000 yuan (20.8 million VND) on the selling price.

Built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, similar to the Zeekr 001, the Z10 boasts impressive dimensions: 5,028mm in length, 1,966mm in width, and 1,468mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,005mm.

The Z10’s design draws inspiration from the “The Next Day” concept, showcasing a fastback sports-inspired style. Its exterior strikes a minimalist and sleek silhouette, devoid of sharp angles, resulting in an impressive drag coefficient of Cd = 0.0198.

The front of the car features a striking headlight design reminiscent of a bird of prey’s talons, complemented by vertically positioned daytime running lights and trendy hidden door handles. At the rear, the Z10 sports a full-width taillight design similar to the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P plug-in hybrid sedan.

Step inside the Z10, and you’ll find a minimalist cabin with almost no physical buttons or switches, except for those on the doors and the two-spoke steering wheel.

Notable features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.4-inch central touchscreen infotainment system with 2.5K display quality, and a head-up display (HUD). The Z10’s infotainment system utilizes the Flyme Auto platform, developed in collaboration with Meizu, and is powered by the high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip. Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the 23-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with WANOS surround sound technology. Adding to the luxurious experience are the Nappa leather-upholstered seats, equipped with cooling, heating, and massage functions.

Under the hood, the Lynk & Co Z10 offers two powertrain options. The Z10 RWD, with rear-wheel drive, features a single electric motor delivering 415 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque, enabling it to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

The higher-spec Z10 AWD, with all-wheel drive, is equipped with two electric motors producing a combined output of 777 horsepower and 810 Nm of torque. This potent setup propels the car from 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds.

Depending on the variant, the Z10 offers a range of 675, 705, or 750 kilometers on a single charge. Moreover, its fast-charging capability allows it to gain 573 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes of charging.

In terms of driver assistance, the Lynk & Co Z10 is equipped with Lidar sensors and the Nvidia Orin-X chip, enabling advanced highway and urban driving through its autonomous driving mode (NOA).
