Similar to its competitors, Toyota, Honda, and Nissan, Mitsubishi has announced new incentives for its vehicles for September 2024. This month, most Mitsubishi models are offered with promotional programs, except for the Triton.
First up is the Mitsubishi Xforce, offering a 50% road tax support on the Premium and Exceed versions. The selling price of these two versions is 640 million and 680 million VND, respectively. Therefore, the tax incentive for the two versions will be worth approximately 32 million and 34 million VND. In addition, Mitsubishi offers a VND 20 million fuel voucher and an Xforce model car to customers who buy the Ultimate, Premium, and Exceed versions.
Of course, the Mitsubishi Xforce is not the only B-segment SUV with incentives this September. Similarly, the Honda HR-V and Toyota Yaris Cross are also offered with a 50% road tax discount by their manufacturers. These are all imported cars and therefore do not qualify for the government’s support policy on road tax like their domestically assembled competitors.
With the new incentives in September 2024, the Mitsubishi Xforce is expected to maintain its appeal. Since its launch in the Vietnamese market in March 2024, this model has consistently topped the B-SUV segment in sales. Mitsubishi Xforce’s cumulative sales from March to July 2024 reached 5,638 units.
In addition to the Xforce, Mitsubishi also offers road tax incentives for four other models, including the Xpander, Pajero Sport, Outlander, and Attrage. Among them, the Mitsubishi Xpander is supported with 100% road tax on the AT Premium and Cross versions. The incentives for these two versions are worth about 66-70 million VND. Customers who buy these two versions will also receive a 360-degree camera worth 20 million VND as a gift.
The MT version of the Mitsubishi Xpander, on the other hand, is assembled domestically and is therefore offered with a 50% road tax incentive by the government. In addition, a rearview camera worth 2.5 million VND will be included as a gift.
For the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, the company also offers a 100% road tax gift, helping customers save from 113 to 136 million VND, depending on the version. The gift for this mid-size SUV is a fuel voucher worth up to 35 million VND.
Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi Outlander line only receives a fuel voucher worth 20 million VND and a 360-degree camera as a gift. This is understandable because the Outlander already has a 50% road tax incentive from the government.
Lastly, the Mitsubishi Attrage has a 50% road tax support program for the MT, CVT, and CVT Premium versions. The incentives for the three versions range from 16 to 24 million VND. In addition, there is a fuel voucher worth 10 million VND for all three versions, a shark fin antenna worth 1.5 million VND for the CVT and CVT Premium versions, while the MT version comes with a rearview camera worth 2.5 million VND.
