On the morning of September 9, 2024, the streets of Saigon were graced by the presence of three colossal cars owned by Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu, the Chairman of Trung Nguyen. These cars were the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, Ferrari 488 GTB, and the Aston Martin DBX707.
The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Ferrari 488 GTB, adorned with the Gumball 3000 2024 supercar rally decals, immediately caught the attention of passersby and sparked excitement.

Trung Nguyen’s car collection for the Gumball 3000 2024 will include 18 supercars, among which are 3 Bugattis: a Veyron, a Ford GT, and a Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition. There will also be 15 Ferraris, including two new additions to the streets of Vietnam: the Ferrari 488 GTB and Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, a rare sight on Vietnamese roads, was imported in 2015 and has had only two owners since. The first owner barely drove it, keeping the mileage at a mere 1,000 km, so the car is practically brand new.
In Vietnam, there are only five Ferrari F12 Berlinettas, four of them in the iconic Rosso Corsa red and one in white. This particular Berlinetta stands out not only for its low mileage but also for its pristine condition, both inside and out.
The F12 Berlinetta is powered by a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, one of the most powerful naturally aspirated engines Ferrari has ever produced. It delivers an impressive 730 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque.
Combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, this supercar can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 340 km/h, making it a perfect choice for the Gumball 3000 rally.
As for the Ferrari 488 GTB, Mr. Vu now owns more than five of these cars, with the white one being a recent addition from last year. It features a black interior with red stitching accents, carbon fiber trim, and a passenger-side dashboard screen displaying the car’s speed and revs.
The Ferrari 488 GTB has been discontinued, and its successor, the Ferrari F8 Tributo, has already made its way to Vietnam with over six units, excluding the convertible models.
Under the hood, the Ferrari 488 GTB boasts a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that generates 661 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 760 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. Coupled with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 km/h.
