According to some sales consultants, the MG5 MT is now being offered with discounts of up to 840 million VND at dealerships.
After the discount, the price of the MG5 MT is only 315 million VND. However, the number of remaining cars is also very limited.
This discount makes the selling price of the MG5 MT sedan even lower than that of the Hyundai Grand i10 (360 million VND).
In terms of design, the MG5 manual version is only equipped with halogen lights alongside a grille that follows the style of the older RX5 sibling.
Inside the cabin, the MG5 manual version features a D-Cut steering wheel with integrated function keys. The car has a fabric-covered seat system that can be manually adjusted in four directions. The infotainment system is displayed on an 8-inch screen, connecting Apple Carplay/Android Auto, along with a four-speaker audio system.
Powering the MG5 MT is a 1.5L inline-4 gasoline engine with a maximum output of 113 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive.
In terms of safety features, the car also only has some basic functions such as: front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, 2 airbags, anti-lock braking system ABS, electronic brake force distribution EBD, reverse camera and reverse sensors.
