A convoy of supercars, luxury sedans, and SUVs are currently being held at a warehouse in Di An, Binh Duong Province. However, two Rolls-Royce Cullinan super SUV owners have chosen to park their vehicles at a 6-star hotel in the heart of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. This unique decision allows the owners to explore the beauty of Vietnam before participating in the upcoming Gumball 3000 2024 rally this weekend.
Recently, the duo of Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUVs from teams 01 and 12 were spotted dining in Ho Chi Minh City. One of the vehicles, from team 01, has already gained fame during its city cruise a couple of days ago. The other SUV is equally remarkable as it belongs to the Black Badge edition. This particular Cullinan will be housing four participants: two Americans, one Ukrainian, and one Iranian.

As an enhanced version of the standard Cullinan, the Black Badge edition boasts a mysterious, glossy black exterior. Chrome and silver details, such as the grille, the iconic “Spirit of Ecstasy” hood ornament, headlight and taillight trims, door sills, and exhaust pipes, are all finished in dark tones.
Additionally, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge edition offers an optional set of stunning two-tone, five-spoke alloy wheels. These wheels are considered one of the most aesthetically pleasing designs currently available for SUVs.
Under the hood, the Black Badge edition delivers improved performance over the standard Cullinan. It is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 engine that generates 592 horsepower, an increase of 29 hp, and a peak torque of 900 Nm, a boost of 50 Nm. The engine is paired with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, an all-wheel-drive system, and a brand-new four-wheel steering system unique to the Black Badge edition.
With this configuration, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.

The other SUV, belonging to Team 01 and bearing the unique license plate number 01, is also extraordinary. It is driven by HRH Moe Al Thani, a member of the UAE royal family and owner of one of the most impressive car collections in the world.
Powering this Cullinan is a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 engine that produces 563 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque at 1,600 rpm. The engine is mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission with satellite aid for smooth gear shifts, an all-wheel-drive system, and four-wheel steering. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan has a limited top speed of 250 km/h.
“The Great Race: A Diverse Lineup”
This weekend, an eclectic group of four individuals – three Americans and one Brit – will embark on a thrilling journey as they participate in the prestigious Gumball 3000 supercar rally. It’s unclear why this last-minute addition of humor has been included, but it adds an intriguing twist to the tale. The question remains as to whether the supercars or SUVs of these four affluent individuals will make it to Vietnam in time for the event.
