Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam is proud to present the all-new 2024 Mitsubishi Triton to our valued customers on September 14-15, 2024, at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village in Ba Vi, Hanoi. And, for an even more exclusive experience, customers will have the chance to ride alongside professional rally driver, Mr. Hiroshi Matsuoka, a two-time champion of the grueling Dakar Rally, as they navigate an unparalleled off-road adventure in the Triton.

On September 11, 2024, the highly-anticipated Japanese pickup truck, the Mitsubishi Triton, was introduced to the market with a host of impressive upgrades and improvements, coupled with a competitive price range of VND 655 million to VND 924 million.

The new Triton boasts a redesigned platform, significantly enlarged interior dimensions for enhanced comfort, and a bold new design language featuring robust and muscular styling both inside and out. Additionally, it offers a wide range of advanced safety and convenience features, along with superior performance thanks to its new engine and refined suspension system.

With its attractive pricing and groundbreaking innovations, the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton has created a buzz across various media platforms and social media channels. However, to truly impress potential customers, Mitsubishi Motor Vietnam has organized a grand-scale event, allowing consumers to get up close and personal with the new Triton.

On September 14 and 15, customers are invited to explore, inspect, and test-drive these all-new pickup trucks at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village in Ba Vi District, Hanoi. What’s more, a select few lucky customers will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride alongside the legendary Mr. Hiroshi Matsuoka, a professional rally driver and two-time champion of the Dakar Rally, one of the most challenging races in the world. Mr. Matsuoka also played a pivotal role in the development and refinement of the new Triton.

The new Mitsubishi Triton boasts impressive dimensions, with measurements of 5,320 x 1,865 x 1,795 mm (LxWxH), a wheelbase of 3,130 mm, and a ground clearance of 228 mm. These increased dimensions, particularly the wheelbase and ground clearance, translate to a more spacious and comfortable interior, especially for rear passengers who enjoy ample legroom and reclined seating.

While retaining the iconic Dynamic Shield design, the Triton’s new look embodies the “Beast Mode” concept, emphasizing bold and angular lines that exude strength and masculinity. Notable design highlights include a robust new grille, T-shaped front and rear LED lighting with L-shaped accents, impressive 18-inch dual-hexagon wheels with all-terrain tires, and striking side mirrors.

Step inside the Triton, and you’ll discover a revolutionary interior that rivals any luxurious SUV. The cabin is adorned with premium materials, including leather, faux suede, carbon fiber accents, and soft-touch plastics. The attention to detail and craftsmanship elevate the Triton’s interior far beyond the typical spartan offerings of Japanese pickup trucks.

The Triton also impresses with its extensive list of features. On the exterior, it boasts a 360-degree camera system, intelligent automatic headlights with auto-leveling and auto on/off functionality, blind-spot warning, tire pressure monitoring, and front/rear sensors. Inside, passengers are treated to power-adjustable seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a large 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and multiple charging ports, including type-A, type-C, and wireless charging for both front and rear occupants.

Under the hood, the Mitsubishi Triton delivers exceptional performance thanks to its 2.4L Mivec engine with twin-turbocharging, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and the renowned Super Select II part-time four-wheel-drive system. This setup produces an impressive 204 horsepower and 470 Nm of torque. The suspension has been finely tuned, reducing the number of leaf springs while increasing their stiffness for a more comfortable ride for rear passengers. The top-of-the-line Athlete variant also features electric power steering, providing a lightweight and responsive driving experience.

With its extensive list of upgrades and improvements, the 2024 Mitsubishi Triton is poised to be a formidable competitor to the segment-leading Ford Ranger. However, the ultimate judgment rests with the consumers who will have the final say during this weekend’s test-drive event.
