The 25th Gumball 3000 super car journey commenced this morning, and among the famous faces present was Vietnamese rapper Lê Nguyễn Trung Đan, widely known by his stage name, Binz.
Binz arrived at the event in style, chauffeured in a Lamborghini Gallardo provided by the organizers. However, his appearance was somewhat understated and low-key, and he quietly departed without causing much of a stir.
The Lamborghini Gallardo that ferried Binz to the event had its engine overhauled just a month ago. It is one of only two Gallardo models regularly seen on the roads here, and it sports a vibrant yellow exterior true to the “raging bull” spirit.
In Vietnam, there are currently almost ten Lamborghini Gallardo models in existence, including the standard version, LP560-4, convertible, high-performance variants like the Superleggera, and limited editions such as the SE, of which only 250 were produced globally.
The Lamborghini Gallardo, first produced in 2004, is equipped with a V10 engine with a displacement of 5.0 liters. It delivers a maximum output of 493 horsepower and a peak torque of 510 Nm. This “super bull” can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and has a top speed of 309 km/h.
The “Holy Trinity” of Vu’s “Gumball 3000” Journey: A Warm Welcome with a Twist of Individuality
In 2024, when the Gumball 3000 rally rolled into town, Vietnam’s renowned supercar enthusiasts were notably absent, tending to other matters. But “Qua” Vu stepped up with a unique welcome for the Gumballers, sponsoring the event to the tune of 6 billion VND and showcasing an extraordinary collection of 16 supercars. Among them were three Bugatti Veyrons and two Ford GTs—a sight that left many Gumball participants in awe and disbelief.
