Volkswagen Unveils the Updated Taos: A Mid-Cycle Facelift for the C-Segment SUV

The German automaker has announced that the refreshed Taos will go on sale later this year, with a starting price higher than the current model, which is priced from $25,420 (approximately VND 623.9 million).

The 2025 Volkswagen Taos receives a significant exterior update, featuring a redesigned grille and front bumper. The LED headlights are now more streamlined and resemble those found on the ID. Buzz model.

At the rear, a sleek LED light bar spans the width of the tailgate, complemented by a chrome accent strip for a modern and eye-catching look.

The 2025 Volkswagen Taos introduces three new exterior color options and offers a choice of 17-, 18-, and 19-inch alloy wheel designs.

Inside, the 2025 Volkswagen Taos boasts a modern cabin with enhanced features, including an updated 8-inch infotainment system, a revised instrument panel, and a new climate control system.

Under the hood, the Taos is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, now producing 174 horsepower, thanks to larger piston rings, injectors, an intercooler, and a new turbocharger housing. The engine is mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission and Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel-drive system.

In terms of safety, the 2025 Volkswagen Taos is equipped with the IQ.DRIVE suite of driver-assistance features, including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and more.
