Following the flag-off ceremony led by renowned streamer IshowSpeed, over 100 vehicles participating in the Gumball 3000 25th anniversary edition embarked on their journey from Le Loi Boulevard in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Their destination for the day was the Cu Chi Tunnels, followed by a continuation of their trip to the Moc Bai border gate in Tay Ninh province, where they would cross into neighboring Cambodia.
Upon arriving at the Moc Bai border gate, hundreds of enthusiastic spectators were already gathered, eagerly awaiting the procession of exotic cars associated with Gumball 3000 2024. The participants were divided into different groups, and by 6 pm, nearly all the vehicles taking part in the world’s most prominent supercar event had left Vietnamese territory, heading towards Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.
As the convoy entered the Cambodian capital, a spectacular traffic jam ensued. Local car enthusiasts had gathered with over 150 supercars and sports cars to welcome the participants, and it took a considerable effort from the authorities to guide the Gumball 3000 2024 convoy to their designated assembly point.
During their two-day stay in Cambodia, the participants will engage in various exciting activities, including an attempt to break a Guinness World Record at the iconic Angkor Wat temple for the most significant supercar gathering ever organized at one of the world’s wonders.
