Just a few minutes ago, at the Gumball 3000 2024 car storage area in Binh Duong Province, members of the crew continued to move additional vehicles, gathering them on Le Loi Boulevard in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Notably, among these cars was the Porsche Carrera GT.
The Porsche Carrera GT is highly regarded by car enthusiasts for its exciting driving experience and design, surpassing that of its younger sibling, the Porsche 918 Spyder. Vietnamese car lovers will have two days to admire this black Porsche Carrera GT with its impressive engine on display.
This Porsche Carrera GT will bear the number 85 out of over 100 supercars participating in Gumball 3000 2024. Additionally, there will be another Ferrari supercar with a Thai license plate, indicating the enthusiasm of Thai tycoons for the world’s largest supercar rally.
Previously, a Porsche Carrera GT briefly appeared in Vietnam in 2012, but it was only temporarily imported and exported, and it was silver in color.
As one of the last true old-school supercars, the Porsche Carrera GT boasts a 5.7-liter gasoline V10 engine that produces a maximum output of 603 horsepower. Coupled with a manual transmission and a lightweight body of just over 1,361 kilograms, it delivers an exhilarating driving experience.
With its powerful heart, this Porsche supercar can accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
