A severe accident occurred at the recent Turin Motor Show, held from September 13-15, resulting in 12 injuries.
During the rally, a white Lancia Rally 037 that was slowly cruising with the procession suddenly accelerated, crashed through a barrier, and plowed into the crowd.
The collision injured 12 people, with the most severe case being a woman who suffered a broken leg. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
The Lancia Rally 037 involved in the accident was a genuine racing car. It was produced between 1982 and 1984, with an estimated production run of 207 to 222 units.
