The Ford Territory, a compact SUV, has been a hit in the Vietnamese market since its launch in October 2022. In just over a year, it has sold over 10,000 units, appealing to the tastes of Vietnamese consumers. Maintaining its strong performance, the Territory has held the top 2 spot in its segment since the beginning of 2024, capturing nearly 16% of the market share. By September 2024, Ford will have delivered 15,000 Territory SUVs to Vietnamese customers.

Ford characterizes Territory customers as young families and successful individuals who embody a modern and liberated lifestyle. To attract even younger buyers, Ford organized a two-day event called “Discover Territory – Continuing the Legacy” from September 19 to 21, 2024.

Earlier, to maintain its momentum in the market and cater to customers seeking a sportier and more stylish option, Ford Vietnam introduced the Territory Sport edition. This version features numerous black accents and a striking two-tone white and black interior color scheme.

Regardless of the version, the Ford Territory embodies the design philosophy of “The Power of Unstoppable Energy Flow.” This is evident in the seamless graphics that integrate the grille with the daytime running LED lights stretching across the front, as well as the prominent character lines running along the sides of the SUV.

The distinctive daytime running lights and the headlamp cluster, positioned lower to emphasize the SUV’s width, are inspired by the design of Ford’s high-performance vehicles. The three-bar layout is a signature touch.

Beyond aesthetics, the Territory’s headlamp system is designed for safer night driving. The LED headlights automatically adjust the high beam pattern, using the vehicle’s front camera to detect the headlights or taillights of other vehicles. The system is designed to gradually adjust the light intensity instead of turning off instantly, allowing the driver’s eyes to adapt to the changing light conditions.

Additionally, the Territory features a large 12.3-inch center touchscreen that stretches across the dashboard, complemented by a 7-inch digital control center (in the Trend, Titanium, and Sport trims) or a matching 12.3-inch version (in the Titanium X trim). The electronic gear selector has been redesigned as a rotary dial, and the parking brake is now a sleek electronic button, catering to the preferences of younger drivers.

The Territory also boasts a host of modern conveniences, including ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration, a panoramic sunroof, USB Type-C and Type-A ports, keyless entry, and hands-free tailgate operation.

But that’s not all; the Ford Territory shines when it comes to technology. It offers the Co-Pilot 360 driver-assist package, encompassing nearly 20 safety features. These include automatic parking, a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assist.

Lastly, the Territory offers four distinct drive modes – Normal, Eco, Sport, and Hill – to cater to diverse driving preferences and conditions.
