The Gumball 3000 2024 supercar rally has entered its sixth day, and the convoy is now embarking on a new journey from Thailand to Malaysia. During their two-day stay in the kingdom, the Gumball 3000 crew received a warm welcome, although the number of supercars was modest compared to neighboring Cambodia.
Interestingly, during the 2024 Gumball 3000 journey, several members returned to their home countries. Specifically, a few Thai-registered vehicles participated in the world’s largest automotive expedition, commemorating its 25th anniversary. However, the most notable was the Porsche Carrera GT, a supercar with a production run of 1,270 units, even more famous than the Porsche 918 Spyder in terms of media coverage and driving experience.
Thus far, the Gumball 3000 2024 supercar rally has covered a third of its journey, with only two countries left to explore before concluding: Malaysia and Singapore. Rumor has it that Singaporean tycoons plan to greet the convoy with hundreds of supercars and showcase a range of megacar and hypercar masterpieces from around the world.
This 25th edition of the Gumball 3000 supercar journey features an array of exceptional vehicles, including the Bugatti Chiron and Bugatti Chiron Super Sport from Cambodia, the Koenisegg Regera “Honey” owned by D.Kang, the Pagani Huayra BC Roadster of two Korean tycoons, and the Porsche Carrera GT of a Thai billionaire, among other exotic rides.
