A recently circulated video on social media captured an impressive display of a self-made “flying saucer” gracefully gliding across the water.
The ” flying saucer ” is the brainchild of Tran Long Ho (born 1987, Kien Giang), a creative individual known for his YouTube channel, “Thánh Chế – Mr. Ho.” He showcases unique inventions such as building a yacht from scrap, creating jet surfboards, and designing vehicles with a distinct style.
This ” flying saucer ” has captured the attention of the online community, capable of reaching speeds of 40 km/h and accommodating two passengers.
According to Mr. Ho, the creation of this model involved a significant time investment and a budget of 60 million VND for purchasing old materials, scrap, and decorative accessories.
Initially, he used charcoal to draw concentric circles on the floor, creating a mold in the shape of a flying saucer. He then poured liquid composite resin into the mold to form the outer shell.
With the fixed mold in place, he proceeded to shape the doors, decorate, and install the engine, lighting system, and switches for the ” flying saucer.”
The composite outer shell, reinforced with iron and shaped like a disc, ensures the model’s stability in water and resistance to capsizing.
The only circumstance that could cause damage and sinking is a strong collision that breaches the shell, allowing water to enter.
