The Gumball 3000 2024 supercar journey is just a few days away from concluding, and in the past 2/3 of the route, the world’s largest automotive event has hosted exclusive parties in each country it has traveled to. In Cambodia, nearly 300 cars gathered to welcome the participants, while in Thailand, thousands of people eagerly awaited the convoy at the Central World shopping mall. However, one of the warmest welcomes was received in Vietnam, where a sea of people lined Le Loi Avenue, and hundreds of cars and motorcycles saw the group off at the Moc Bai border gate in Tay Ninh province. This left a beautiful impression on the Gumballers.
The above images display the impressive collection of cars owned by “Qua” Vu, which were present at Gumball 3000 2024.
To date, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu is the only individual who has presented such a vast collection of vehicles to welcome the Gumball 3000 2024 participants. When the supercar convoy arrived in Thailand, one of the ASEAN countries known for its strong supercar culture, and home to numerous individuals with collections of hundreds of cars, the welcome party was surprisingly modest. Only a few cars, including a Lamborghini Diablo, a Lamborghini Revuelto, and a Porsche 911 GT2 RS, were among the early arrivals.
Perhaps the venue for the Gumball 3000 2024 event in Thailand was not spacious enough for local businessmen to showcase a larger number of cars. As a result, one participant chose to bring their very best vehicles: a rare Lamborghini Diablo supercar, the street-legal race car Porsche 911 GT2 RS, and the newest addition to the Lamborghini family, the hybrid-powered Revuelto.
As Lamborghini’s first commercial supercar equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain (PHEV), the Revuelto has garnered significant attention. Despite sharing the same V12 engine as its predecessors, the Revuelto is 17 kg lighter while producing a higher maximum output of 825 horsepower at 9,250 rpm—a substantial 125 horsepower increase over the Aventador. When combined with its electric motor, the Revuelto’s total power output reaches an astonishing 1,015 horsepower, making it Lamborghini’s first commercial supercar to surpass the 1,000-horsepower mark. These impressive specifications enable the Lamborghini Revuelto LB744 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, reach 200 km/h in under 7 seconds, and attain a top speed of 350 km/h.

The fleet of Ferrari supercars were driven out by Trung Nguyên’s own drivers, a meticulous process that took five hours to carefully maneuver the 13 prancing horses into the exhibition space. The Ford GT and Bugatti Veyron, equally stunning in their presence, made an entrance as well, although they were brought in by a recovery vehicle.
