Owning a Lamborghini grants you entry into an exclusive club, but there’s always a more elite tier to aspire to. Even if money is no object, you can’t purchase the Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 ultra SUV unless you already own the track-only Essenza SCV12, introduced in 2020, which retails for €2.2 million. Thus, it could also be considered the most expensive Lamborghini Urus in the world.

The Lamborghini Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 special edition is reserved for the 40 customers who purchased the Aventador-based race-only car. Unfortunately, despite bearing the name, this Lamborghini Urus does not possess a potent V12 engine. Fortunately, the Lamborghini Urus exclusive to Essenza SCV12 race car owners, priced at €2.2 million, has quietly arrived in Vietnam through the Gumball 3000 2024 supercar event.

The exterior of the car has been wrapped by its owner in a camouflage pattern, but two key details stand out: the number plate frame bearing the words “Essenza SCV12,” indicating that this is one of the 40 Lamborghini Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 special editions worldwide. Even more intriguing, the owner possesses not just one but two Essenza SCV12 race cars, forming a team.

These Lamborghini Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 speed SUVs feature a two-tone finish with a black lower section matching the race number on the front doors. Upon closer inspection, you’ll also notice a contrasting color line on the lower body and side skirts. The car sports 23-inch wheels with a gloss black finish and matching brake calipers, although purchasers can opt for different alloys and colors.

Step inside, and the Lamborghini Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 Special Edition greets you with black Alcantara and carbon fiber trim, available in either a matte or glossy finish. The interior also boasts black anodized aluminum details and red door handles, along with the silhouette and name of the race car displayed on the passenger side of the dashboard.

This motif is repeated on the door corner plates, while two carbon fiber commemorative plaques add a unique touch. To further distinguish the interior from the production version, there are two plaques on the Urus SCV12: one commemorating Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary and the other bearing the owner’s name and their chosen number.

The Essenza SCV12 race car is equipped with the most potent version of Lamborghini’s V12 engine, generating a whopping 830 horsepower from its 6.5-liter displacement. However, the Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 is powered by a V8 engine with a displacement of 4.0 liters, the same as the standard model, but with an increased output of 666 horsepower. While Lamborghini hasn’t disclosed the price of the Urus Essenza SCV12, it’s irrelevant as it’s priceless to anyone who already owns the race car.

In addition to the Lamborghini Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 Special Edition, the Gumball 3000 2024 event featured other Urus variants, including the standard, S, and Performante models, adorned with colorful wraps, creating a stunning display of vehicles.
