According to reports, VinFast delivered approximately 2,200 vehicles to customers in August.
Among these, the VF 5 maintained its position as the brand’s flagship model, with sales reaching around 2,200 units. Although sales decreased by 14% compared to the previous month, this decline is in line with the overall market trend during the Ghost Month.
Cumulative sales of the VF 5 from the beginning of the year have reached approximately 17,800 units. In comparison, its competitors in the A+ CUV segment, such as the Kia Sonet, Toyota Raize, and Hyundai Venue, have recorded lower sales during the same period.
The VF 5 was once VinFast’s most affordable electric vehicle before the launch of the VF 3. It is currently priced at 468 million VND without a battery and 559 million VND with a battery and charger. Additionally, buyers are exempt from registration fees and can enjoy free charging at VinFast stations for almost a year.
The VF 5 is powered by an electric motor that delivers 100 kW (134 horsepower) and a maximum torque of 135 Nm. Its lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 37.23 kWh, offering a range of 300 km on a single charge.
