Zeekr, a renowned automotive brand, has recently introduced an innovative system to break through car windows in the event of water-related emergencies.

This new feature is integrated into their 7X SUV model and consists of a simple pull tab that, when pulled, activates a specialized hammer to break the window with immense force.

According to Zeekr, the hammer can generate an impact force of up to 3,000 Newton, which is an impressive 33 times stronger than a regular safety hammer. This ensures that the window can be broken even if the car’s engine has stalled or is submerged underwater.

As a demonstration, Zeekr shared a video of an emergency responder testing this feature. It showcases the effectiveness and ease of breaking the window in an emergency situation.

Currently, this innovative feature is exclusive to the 7X SUV model, but there are expectations that it will be implemented across Zeekr’s future vehicle lineup.
