Not only does the VinFast VF 5 Plus lead in the A-SUV segment, with sales figures far surpassing its competitors, but it has also consistently ranked as one of the best-selling vehicles in the entire market.

This success stems not only from the quality of the vehicle but also from its economical operating costs and user-friendly policies.

According to statistics for August 2024, the VF 5 Plus dominated the A-class vehicle segment with sales of 2,200 units, more than five times that of the next model, the Kia Sonet (430 units), in second place.

The Hyundai Grand i10, Hyundai Venue, Toyota Raize, Toyota Wigo, and Kia Morning followed with sales ranging from 38 to 310 units, a fraction of the VF 5 Plus’s performance. When considering the entire segment, the VF 5 Plus’s sales are one and a half times that of all other models combined.

With such impressive sales figures, the VF 5 Plus is solidifying its position as a “people’s car.” Users attribute this success to the unique value proposition offered by VinFast’s electric SUV.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoang, an office worker in Hanoi, shared that he chose the VF 5 Plus because it met all his requirements. The vehicle is equipped with a 134-horsepower electric motor, which is powerful enough for city driving and long-distance trips. With significantly higher power than its segment, Mr. Hoang is pleased with the cost-effective operation compared to gasoline-powered vehicles.

Mr. Hoang mentioned that with VinFast’s policy of free charging at V-GREEN public stations until July 1, 2025, the operating cost of the VinFast VF 5 Plus is negligible. Customers like him can also rest assured about charging, thanks to the widespread network of stations across 63 provinces and cities. Even when paying for charging, the cost for the VF 5 Plus is only half that of gasoline. “Even with a subscription, my monthly expense is less than VND 1.8 million, while my previous gasoline car cost around VND 3.5 million. Switching to an electric car has significantly reduced my expenses,” Mr. Hoang admitted.

Notably, after covering more than 34,000 kilometers, the owner shared that the VF 5 Plus‘s maintenance costs are also significantly lower than traditional vehicles due to its simple construction and fewer replacement parts. Additionally, VinFast’s impressive seven-year warranty provides absolute peace of mind for users.

The VinFast VF 5 Plus is highly regarded not only for its performance and cost-effectiveness but also for its advanced technologies. One of the standout features of this model is its superior safety technology compared to its competitors in the same segment. The VF 5 Plus is equipped with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a rearview camera, and exit warning systems, enhancing the driver’s confidence on the road.

Notably, the VF 5 Plus supports continuous software updates, ensuring that owners always experience the latest technologies, which is unheard of in traditional gasoline vehicles. This is a significant advantage over other models and makes the VF 5 Plus appealing to tech-savvy young customers.

The VinFast VF 5 Plus not only impresses with its modern technological features but also attracts attention with its diverse exterior customization options. This model offers eight exterior color choices, ranging from neutral to vibrant shades.

This VF 5 Plus capability allows it to cater to diverse customer groups, from middle-aged individuals who prefer simplicity to young, dynamic individuals who embrace their unique personalities. With its combination of powerful performance, economical costs, advanced technology, and a wide range of color options, industry experts predict that the “people’s car” VF 5 Plus will continue to reign in its segment and possibly the entire market in the coming months, especially as electric vehicles become the preferred choice for Vietnamese consumers.
