The MG7 mid-size sedan was officially launched in Vietnam in late August 2024, and less than a month later, this Chinese car has been discounted at some dealerships.

Accordingly, an MG dealer in Hanoi is offering the MG7 1.5T Luxury standard version for only 688 million VND, a discount of 50 million VND from the listed price. The corresponding figure for the top-of-the-line 2.0T Premium version is 958 million VND, a discount of 60 million VND.

Not only dealerships but even the MG brand itself is currently running a promotion for this car. Specifically, in September 2024, the MG7 is offered with a one-year physical insurance package worth 10 million VND for the 1.5T Luxury version, 12 million VND for the 2.0T Luxury version, and 15 million VND for the 2.0T Premium version. However, due to the modest scale of the manufacturer’s promotion, dealers have to offer additional incentives to speed up the sales of this model.

It’s not just the MG7 that has promotional offers; other MG models such as the MG5, ZS, HS, RX5, and MG4 EV also have manufacturer promotions this September. The model with the highest incentive is the MG RX5, which comes with a free registration fee and two years of physical insurance worth 120 million VND. For the MG HS, the car is offered with free registration and one year of physical insurance worth 80 million VND.
