According to a report by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), 478 hybrid vehicles were delivered to customers in the past month of August 2024.
Specifically, the best-selling hybrid model was the [Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid](https://xehay.vn/toyota-corolla-cross-hybrid-2023-dang-ky-lai-xe-tu-dong-het-han-su-dung-den-bao-lau-d26202.html) with 148 units sold. Since the beginning of this year, Toyota has delivered a total of 564 Corolla Cross hybrids to customers.
Following the Corolla Cross hybrid is the Toyota Yaris Cross, with 120 units delivered to customers. As of the end of August 2024, this model has a cumulative sales figure of 566 vehicles.
The hybrid version of the [Honda CR-V](https://xehay.vn/hon-da-cr-v-2018-dang-ky-lai-xe-tu-dong-het-han-su-dung-may-anh-d25973.html) also proved popular, with 117 units sold in August. Despite a slight dip from July, the Honda CR-V HEV maintained a strong cumulative sales figure of 922 vehicles over the past eight months.
The [Toyota Innova Cross HEV](https://xehay.vn/gia-xe-toyota-innova-2022-moi-nhat-tong-hop-gia-ni-truong-va-gia-xa-hoi-d25722.html) recorded a sales figure of 61 units in August. However, for the first eight months of 2024, this model still achieved a total sales figure of 1,046 vehicles.
Due to ongoing supply issues, the [Toyota Camry HEV](https://xehay.vn/danh-gia-xe-toyota-camry-2023-tu-a-z-d25946.html) had a modest sales figure of just 15 units in August. Since the beginning of the year, Toyota has delivered a total of 173 Camry HEVs to customers.
Due to the coincidence of the lunar month of “Ngau,” a time when many people avoid purchasing new vehicles, sales of most models decreased in August.
According to some sources, the list of hybrid vehicles in Vietnam will continue to grow towards the end of the year, with the introduction of new models such as the Honda Civic e:HEV RS and the upgraded Toyota Camry hybrid.
