The highly-anticipated successor to the Aventador, codenamed “Termerario,” is confirmed to make its global debut on August 16. Lamborghini has revealed that this new supercar will mark the completion of their hybridization process, combining a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a hybrid system for an unparalleled driving experience and performance.
Prior to its reveal, Lamborghini confirmed that the new 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine will produce an impressive 789 horsepower and 730 Nm of torque. This powerhouse will be paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and a hybrid system consisting of three electric motors, resulting in a combined output of 888 horsepower.
Leaked images of the Termerario have already surfaced on social media platforms. Carscoops managed to capture details of the car, showcasing slim headlights, daytime running lights, and a centrally positioned hexagonal exhaust outlet. If the Termerario shares the same cockpit design as the Revuelto, we can expect a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch central infotainment screen, and a 9.1-inch passenger-side screen.
Lamborghini shared that the United States is their most important market, and the demand for their vehicles is exceptionally high. The Revuelto has a two-year-long waiting list, and the Huracan has stopped taking orders as its production is expected to end in December this year.
In the Vietnamese market, the latest offering from the Italian brand is the Urus SE, a hybrid super SUV starting at VND 14.8 billion. In the realm of hybrid supercars, Ferrari also presents strong competition with their 296 GTB/296 GTS and SF90 Stradale/SF90 Spider models available to Vietnamese customers.
