On the morning of September 26, 2024, the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA), the Vietnam Automobile Importers Association (VIVA), and the Vietnam Motorcycle Manufacturers Association (VAMM) officially announced the organization of the Vietnam Auto & Motorcycle Show 2024 (Vietnam Motor Show 2024) with the participation of 19 automotive and motorcycle brands, along with over 50 brands in the auxiliary industry.
The organizing committee has confirmed the attendance of the following automotive and motorcycle brands at VMS 2024: GAC, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Honda, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, MG, BYD, GAZ, Honda, SYM, Yamaha Motor, UM Motorcycles, Harley-Davidson, Triumph Motorcycles, KTM, and Husqvarna Motorcycles. Thus, BYD is still participating in the VMS 2024 exhibition, despite previous information suggesting that the Chinese representative would not be present at Vietnam’s largest auto show.
The Vietnam Motor Show 2024 will take place from October 23, 2024, to October 27, 2024, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
With the theme “Technology Opens the Green Future”, the exhibition will feature a seminar on “Reducing Emissions from Transport and Green Energy Transition towards Environmental Protection”, with the participation of industry experts.

“The Vietnamese automotive industry is going through a strong development phase with great prospects, especially the trend towards electric and hybrid vehicles. At Vietnam Motor Show 2024, visitors will be able to admire modern vehicles with diverse price ranges, from fuel-efficient to multi-purpose vehicles, ready to meet the needs of consumers in the current economic context. We believe that with careful preparation and a spirit of constant innovation, VMS 2024 will be the starting point for new trends and technological advances, contributing to the development of the Vietnamese automotive market,” said Mr. Nakano Keita, Chairman of VAMA.
At VMS 2024, Honda and Toyota will have the largest booths, promising to bring a lot of unique models, while this is also the first time that brands such as GAC, Skoda, and BYD have participated in Vietnam’s largest auto show.
