Zeekr recently unveiled its 7X SUV model, featuring a unique active airbag-equipped child seat, taking passenger safety to the next level.
This innovative safety feature is a world-first, following Zeekr’s previous introduction of the window-breaking function in case of water immersion.
The smart child seat in the Zeekr 7X is forward-facing, with an airbag strategically placed between the shoulder straps in front of the child.
In the event of a frontal collision, the airbag will deploy to secure the child’s head, preventing excessive forward movement.
The Zeekr 7X made its debut at the Chengdu Auto Show in late August and has since garnered impressive sales figures. Within a week of its launch, it received 20,000 orders, and after 20 days, that number soared to 58,429.
The Zeekr 7X exudes modern sophistication with its sleek design. The front of the vehicle features an eye-catching interactive light bar above the main headlights, along with LiDAR sensors on the roof and mudguards, hidden door handles, and striking “Super Red” taillights that span the entire width of the car.
Built on the advanced PMA2+ platform with an 800 V electrical architecture, the Zeekr 7X offers two battery options: an LFP battery with a capacity of 75 kWh, providing a range of up to 605 km (according to CLTC standards), and an NMC battery with a capacity of 100 kWh, offering an impressive range of up to 780 km. Notably, the LEP battery supports 5.5C fast charging, enabling a charge from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes through DC fast charging.
Under the hood, the Zeekr 7X boasts two powerful powertrain options. The standard version is equipped with a rear-mounted electric motor that delivers a maximum output of 415 horsepower. The higher-end variant, on the other hand, features two electric motors and an all-wheel-drive system, generating an impressive 636 horsepower.
