The Land Rover Defender Gets a Bold and Adventurous Makeover by Apocalypse.
Apocalypse, a renowned name in the automotive customization world, has once again impressed with their latest creation – a modified Land Rover Defender.
Transforming the luxurious SUV into a formidable 6×6 pickup truck, Apocalypse added an extra axle and extended the chassis to accommodate the third row of wheels. Unlike some 6×6 vehicles on the market, this modification features fully functional and structurally identical six wheels, making it a true six-wheel-drive vehicle.
The Florida-based customizer also upgraded the Defender’s suspension system, allowing for an 8-inch adjustment in ride height at the push of a button. The vehicle is fitted with 20-inch military-style wheels wrapped in 38-inch off-road tires. According to Apocalypse, this Defender is capable of tackling any terrain in the world.
At the front, the Defender sports a unique and aggressive-looking bumper with a spiked design. It also features a roof rack, auxiliary lights, a sports bar, underbody protection, and side steps.
Under the hood, the Land Rover Defender is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine that produces 518 horsepower and 625 Nm of torque. The power is sent to all six wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission, enabling the vehicle to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 240 km/h.
With its extensive design and performance upgrades, this Apocalypse-modified Defender 6×6 comes with a hefty price tag of $375,000, equivalent to 9.2 billion VND.
