Suzuki is in the final stages of preparation before unveiling the 2025 Swift Sport later this year.

According to the Japanese press, the 2025 Suzuki Swift Sport will be introduced by the Japanese automaker in late 2024 or early 2025. It is the sports version of the fourth-generation Suzuki Swift, launched in December 2023.

The powertrain of the 2025 Suzuki Swift Sport is likely to remain unchanged from its predecessor. According to reputable Japanese sources, this hatchback will still be equipped with a mild hybrid system, featuring a 1.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 150 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. The small electric motor adds an extra 15 horsepower and 59 Nm. It will be paired with a choice of a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

The dimensions of the new Suzuki Swift Sport are expected to be 3,990 mm in length, 1,750 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height. Compared to the previous-generation Swift Sport, the new model is 125 mm longer and 15 mm wider. However, the height and wheelbase (2,450 mm) remain the same.

The design of the Suzuki Swift Sport will be based on the Swift Cool Yellow Rev concept introduced earlier this year. It will feature an exclusive paint color and some modifications to the grille, front and rear bumpers, alloy wheels, and headlights and taillights.

There is no information yet on the interior configuration of the Swift Sport, but it is likely to share many features with the standard model. Notable equipment in the new-generation Suzuki Swift includes analog gauges with a 4.2-inch multi-information display, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, a head-up display, electronic parking brake, auto hold function, and a USB port.

The current-generation Suzuki Swift Sport has a starting price of 2.16 million yen (approximately 364 million VND) in Japan. With enhancements in design and equipment, the 2025 Swift Sport is expected to reach the price of 2.3 million yen (approximately 387 million VND).
