As rumored, besides the Santa Fe, Hyundai Thanh Cong has introduced another new model in Vietnam in Q4 of 2024 – the Tucson. Recently, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson has been spotted on Vietnamese streets. These vehicles seem to be used for promotional photo and video shoots.
According to sales consultants at dealerships, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson is expected to be launched in the Vietnamese market in October or November this year. Its price has not been disclosed yet, but it is likely to be higher than the previous version.
The 2025 Hyundai Tucson is anticipated to debut in Vietnam next month.
Being a mid-cycle refresh, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson receives subtle updates to its exterior design and features. It now sports a revised grille and LED daytime running lights, along with new front and rear bumpers that give it a more robust appearance. Additionally, it features sleeker taillights, and new alloy wheels.

On the inside, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson adopts a new three-spoke steering wheel with an electronic gear selector positioned behind it, similar to the Santa Fe. This arrangement creates a tidier look and frees up space for wireless phone charging and cup holders in the center console.

Similar to the new-generation Santa Fe, the Tucson also boasts a curved display that integrates a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen on higher-end trims. The infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as over-the-air software updates.
The highlight of the 2025 Hyundai Tucson is its new curved display.
To complement the new curved display, Hyundai has redesigned the air vents on the dashboard, making them longer and giving the interior a more spacious feel. Below the vents are the infotainment screen and two new rotary knobs for controlling both the climate system and the infotainment interface.
Additionally, the compact SUV now includes a storage tray on the passenger side of the dashboard, ambient lighting, a head-up display, memory functions for the driver’s seat and mirrors, dual-layered acoustic glass for the front doors, and an electrically operated tailgate.
Details about the 2025 Hyundai Tucson’s powertrains for the Vietnamese market have not been disclosed yet. However, it is likely to carry over the same engine options.
These include a 2.0-liter gasoline engine producing 156 horsepower and 192 Nm of torque, a 2.0-liter diesel engine generating 186 horsepower and 416 Nm of torque, and a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 180 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque. These engines are mated to either a 6-speed automatic, an 8-speed automatic, or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The 2025 Hyundai Tucson in Vietnam is likely to retain the same engine options.
In Vietnam, the 2025 Hyundai Tucson will continue to compete against rivals such as the Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, and Kia Sportage.
