Vietnamese businessman Phạm Trần Nhật Minh, commonly known as Minh “Nhá»±a”, is a well-known supercar enthusiast in Vietnam. In addition to his recent acquisition of a McLaren Elva and Pagani Huayra, Minh “Nhá»±a” has just added a new vehicle to his collection: the Volkswagen Viloran.

The Volkswagen Viloran has been gaining popularity among Vietnamese consumers, including celebrities, and now, even the renowned supercar collector Minh “Nhá»±a” has purchased this luxurious German MPV.

What makes Minh “Nhá»±a”‘s new MPV, the Volkswagen Viloran 2024, so appealing?

In the current market for luxurious MPVs, the Volkswagen Viloran has been making waves. In just the first six months of its release, nearly 1,000 units were sold, and sales are expected to soar in the remaining months of the year, especially during the last quarter when car dealerships offer impressive promotions.

Minh “Nhá»±a”‘s newly purchased Volkswagen Viloran sports a Brisbane Yellow exterior. It is unclear which trim level he has acquired, as the dealer currently offers the Premium version for 1,989,000,000 VND and the upcoming Luxury version with an expected retail price of 2,188,000,000 VND.

Although the Volkswagen Viloran is priced higher than the Kia Carnival 3.5G Signature 7S, it is more affordable than the two highest trims of the latter. Additionally, the German MPV boasts unique advantages that its Korean competitor lacks. Firstly, the Volkswagen Viloran has larger dimensions, measuring 5,346 mm in length, 1,976 mm in width, and 1,781 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,180 mm. In comparison to the Kia Carnival, it is 191 mm longer, 19 mm narrower, and 6 mm taller, with a wheelbase that surpasses its rival by 90 mm.

Secondly, the Volkswagen Viloran is a large, luxurious MPV equipped with impressive features. It boasts IQ.Light LED headlights, symmetrical LED taillights that don’t span the full width of the rear end, electric sliding doors for the second and third rows, power-deployable running boards, and 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.

When it comes to evaluating an MPV, the cabin is of utmost importance, and the Volkswagen Viloran 2024 certainly delivers on that front. Minh “Nhá»±a”‘s Viloran features a comfortable three-row seating configuration with a 2+2+3 layout. The two middle seats are business-class seats that can recline up to 70 degrees, offering leg rests, heating and cooling functions, 30-color ambient lighting, and massage features. These seats also come with armrests, cup holders, phone trays, charging ports, and dedicated control clusters.

Both the Premium and Luxury trims of the Volkswagen Viloran feature leather upholstery and wood trim, exuding a sense of sophistication. Additionally, this imported model from China boasts a comprehensive list of convenience features.

The Volkswagen Viloran 2024 also includes a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12-inch central touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an eight-speaker audio system, tri-zone automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, and a panoramic sunroof as standard.

Under the hood, Minh “Nhá»±a”‘s new Volkswagen Viloran is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 220 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch wet-clutch automatic transmission.
