The all-new 2024 Hyundai Tucson has been spotted on the streets of Vietnam, indicating an imminent launch.
According to a sales consultant, the 2024 Hyundai Tucson is expected to be available in Vietnam in four variants, with prices ranging from 825 million to 1.02 billion VND.
Compared to its predecessor, the 2024 Hyundai Tucson features subtle design changes. The front grille, known as the Parametric grille, has been slightly reduced in size and is accompanied by wing-shaped positioning lights. Meanwhile, the front bumper has been widened horizontally, giving the car a more robust appearance. The side profile and rear combination lamps remain largely unchanged from the previous model.
Following in the footsteps of the Santa Fe 2024, the 2024 Hyundai Tucson now boasts a dual-screen setup. This includes a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a matching 12.3-inch central infotainment screen. The three-spoke steering wheel has been streamlined and now integrates function buttons.
The gear selector has been relocated from the center console to a more ergonomic position behind the steering wheel, similar to other modern Hyundai models. The central armrest has also been redesigned to be larger, offering additional storage, wireless phone charging, and cup holders.
The 2024 Tucson also benefits from upgraded interior ambient lighting, automatic toll fee collection, digital key 2, a fingerprint scanner, a head-up display, a dashcam, memory functions for the driver’s seat and mirrors, and an electrically operated tailgate.
In international markets, the 2024 Hyundai Tucson will introduce additional notable technologies, such as an Automatic Terrain Mode that adapts to real-time road surface conditions and a Cross Wind Stability Control system for improved high-speed stability.
It is likely that the Vietnamese-spec 2024 Hyundai Tucson will retain the same engine options as its predecessor. These include a 2.0-liter gasoline engine producing 156 horsepower and 192 Nm of torque, a 2.0-liter diesel engine generating 186 horsepower and 416 Nm of torque, and a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 180 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque.
